Historic Scotland, an EFFESUS Partner, is holding a two day Energy Efficiency Conference on the 30th of September and 1st of October 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland at the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall.
The two-day Event will cover issues regarding energy efficiency and fabric improvements in traditional buildings. A mix of international and native speakers will attend the event. Day 1 of the conference will examine international approaches towards achieving sustainable environmentalism in historic communities while examining the climatic, economic and social impacts that must be considerd in maintaining the building’s heritage. Key research findings and case studies will be presented, including and the findings of the EFFESUS Project in Glasgow. The 2nd day of the conference will focus on Scottish research, legislation, case studies and Solutions on energy efficiency in historic buildings. The conference will provide attendees the chance to visit and collaborate with our many exhibitors and experts over the two days.
